One shared place for the whole family
My Active Family was built for the person holding it all together — the parent juggling homework and appointments, and the adult child caring for aging parents from afar.
Why we built this
I watched my mother carry the full weight of caring for my father, who lived with Multiple Sclerosis, while running our household alone with almost no help. I saw how much falls through the cracks when one person holds it all together.
My Active Family is the tool I wish she'd had — so families and caregivers have one place to keep track of it all together, so nothing gets missed and no one has to carry it alone.
She was part of what's now called the sandwich generation — raising kids while caring for a parent — and she carried the mental load as our family's default coordinator, with no system in place to share it.
